I believe travel retreats are meant to be experienced through curiosity and exploration. This African retreat will be full of gorgeous experiences that engage all the senses. Find ways to really look and be mindful, and discover a new way of seeing!
This retreat includes a Moroccan cooking lesson, a guided tour of the historic sites and lively souks (markets) of Marrakesh, a relaxing spa day at a renowned hammam, an all-day trip to the charming coastal town of Essaouira with an optional camel ride on the beach, and an outing to the Atlas Mountains for a hike or mule ride… and more.
In the evenings, we will gather for delicious meals either at the Pavilions or in a Moroccan town. At least one night, we will wander the exotic, mystical market square of Marrakesh – home to snake charmers, fortune tellers, dancers, storytellers and more. At the Pavilions, our evening activities include henna tattoos and an outdoor movie night under the stars.
Our home for the week is Peacock Pavilions, http://www.peacockpavilions.com, an 8.5 acre private estate nestled in an olive grove on the outskirts of Marrakech, with views of the snow capped Atlas mountains. The eco-friendly abode has been featured in worldwide publications, including National Geographic Traveler. Breathtakingly beautiful and luxuriously designed, the living quarters where we will stay during the retreat feature gorgeous fireplaces and a glamorous bathroom in each room. Each bedroom also has its own private terrace. The property features a pool, outdoor gym, outdoor cinema, yoga/activities pavilion, and a painted dining tent. Peacock Pavilions was designed to promote wellbeing and fun!
We will be fed delicious organic meals at the Pavilions. Made fresh with local, seasonal farm-to-table resources and served either outdoors on the terrace or in the gorgeous Moroccan dining tent. Several evenings at the Pavilion will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres before dinner is served.

$500 non-refundable deposit to secure your space unless space can be filled by another registration.

A $500 non-refundable deposit holds your space. Final payment is due 90 days prior to the retreat’s start date. Refunds – less deposit – are available 45 days prior to the retreat. Cancellations WITHIN 45 days of retreat will not receive a refund. We cannot compensate for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, inclement weather, etc.) since we have costs already incurred when reserving the retreat center. To be safe, we highly recommend travel insurance.
